A 20-year-old man faces a litany of charges relating to a double-fatal road crash in April.

Police investigating a fatal road traffic collision on the Cushendall Road, Ballycastle, on Monday April 6 said they had charged him with two counts of causing death by dangerous driving, seven counts of causing grievous bodily injury by dangerous driving, perverting the course of justice, and a number of other offences.

He is expected to appear in Coleraine Magistrates Court on Friday morning.

Johnny Black, 19, from Ballycastle, and Armoy man Robin Wilson, 26, died as a result of a head-on collision between two cars on the Cushendall Road around 3.40am.
