Man's body found in water in Co Londonderry

The body was identified as that of 39-year-old Strabane man, Sean Diver, who has been missing since January 27.

The body was found in water in the Newbuildings area by Community Search and Rescue.

At this time the death is not being treated as suspicious.

Chief Inspector Ivor Morton said: “Police remain in contact with the family of Mr Diver and I would like to take this opportunity to offer my sincere condolences to them and Sean’s friends at this difficult time.”
