A hard-hitting report about ex-minister Nelson McCausland’s role in the Red Sky scandal is to be debated on Tuesday.
It comes after leaked copies of the report – compiled by an Assembly committee – described Mr McCausland’s attempt to extend a Housing Executive contract with contractor Red Sky as being “politically motivated”.
It had been suggested the firm had links to the DUP.
It denied any wrongdoing, and later entered administration in 2011.
The DUP has also denied any wrongdoing on behalf of its ex-minister – adding it is right to punish the whistleblower who helped bring the matter to public attention.
MLAs are to discuss the matter from early afternoon onwards.
