Newtownards back in action
After a busy summer, Newtownards Young Farmers Club is back with an even more action-packed winter programme, with club meetings ranging from a tour around Pritchitts to jiving lessons and even a Halloween horror night lined up.
The first club meeting was held on Wednesday, September 14, in the club hall on Victoria Avenue and it was a night filled with fun and games. Members engaged in a range of games including ice-breakers so everyone had the opportunity to get to know each other.
The club was delighted to see six new members as well as many familiar faces turning up for an entertaining night. The next club meeting will be a tour around Pritchitts Lakeland Dairies, which is sure to be a very interesting night. Even though the first club meeting of the year is over, it’s still not too late to join Newtownards YFC.
