Northern Ireland Water has been unable to say how many homes have been affected by a burst water pipe in east Belfast.
A number of householders have reported a drop in pressure, with little water coming out of their taps this morning.
In a statement this morning, the company had said: “NI Water engineers are on site dealing with a burst on the Castlereagh Road in east Belfast.
“Efforts throughout the night have resulted in a temporary repair being effected this morning and customers who may have experienced low water pressure and or no water this morning, should have their supply restored.”
The company, at time of writing, could not give an estimate for the number of homes which had been hit by the disruption.
They added that customers can contact Waterline on 03457 440088 for further information.
