When is Belfast's Christmas tree light switch-on?

In just two weeks time Belfast is going to be celebrating its Christmas lights switch-on.

It will take place on November 17 between 6.30pm and 7.30pm at Belfast City Hall.

The city will get festive this year when the Lord Mayor and her special guests, Paw Patrol’s Skye and Marshall, Fireman Sam and Norman Price, and TV presenter Andy Day light up the city.

Radio’s breakfast team Stephen and Cate will host the evening and lots of musical fun awaits with mini shows and traditional carols before the big switch-on.

Gates will open on the evening at 6pm with live entertainment on stage from this time.

This is a free, ticketed event. Tickets will be available online only from www.visitbelfast.com from Monday 5 November 2018 at 9am.
