Dublin a fair city for the wealthy and hardly a model for left wing politics

Can the self-professed left wing Sinn Fein, who boast of being the friend of those on the lower rungs of the social ladder, explain why Dublin’s fair city is so costly to live in and has become the mecca for property investors who inflated rental costs above the ability of the average earner to pay?
