BBC seems to have no qualms about upsetting traditional viewers in run up to Christmas Day

At a time when we hear calls for respect from all quarters, it was disappointing to see BBC1 (NI) give air time to the Paddy Raff Christmas Special on Monday night.

How anyone involved could have thought it acceptable to get cheap laughs at the cost of offending the large Christian community is beyond explanation.

The offence was compounded by broadcasting such mockery in the run up to Christmas Day.

It would seem the BBC has no qualms about offending viewers who hold traditional values.
