The breach of Covid regulations at Bobby Storey’s funeral is the least of Sinn Fein’s sins

In the past days we have witnessed the just condemnation of the deputy first minister’s attendance at the funeral of Bobby Storey, and calls for her resignation.

Yet when we consider everything that Sinn Fein stands for, then their blatant disregard for the coronavirus regulations is surely the least of their sins.

That politicians in all of the major parties will condemn a breach of social distancing guidelines by Sinn Fein members, yet ensure that murderers and terrorists such as Martin McGuinness are eligible for the highest offices in our land is surely a matter of gross hypocrisy.

It is true that Michelle O’Neil has, by her recent actions, shown herself to be unfit for office.

Yet it is also true that Sinn Fein as a whole has always been unfit for office. The silence of the majority of our politicians on that matter is deafening.
