DUP’s Paul Givan is more in line with Catholic catechism on abortion than so called Catholic politicians

I am continually amazed at the attitude displayed by political constitutional nationalism and their flip flop opinions regarding abortion.

Why is that the majority of them can vote down in 2019, abortion for those with Down’s etc and yet push for its implementation for any other reason? Is it just because they don’t wish association as something as vile as eugenical abortion with its clear identification to the Nazi era but it is OK for any other situation? There is no such thing as abortion lite, abortion is what it is: the denial of the right to life of the child in the womb.

They must view themselves that they play the same ‘Catholic’ card as Joe Biden plays and that all is OK? It is embarrassing that the DUP MLA Paul Givan (Feb 16, see below) is more in line with the Catholic catechism’s defining on abortion than so called baptised ‘Catholic’ politicians!

It is interesting to note that the discoverer of Down’s, Dr Jerome Le Jeune, was declared ‘Venerable’ by Pope Francis last month and whose cause for canonisation is progressing.

I am sure that he would applaud Mr Givan’s work and pity those who hinder it!
