I can relate to columnist, because I too struggle with stress and anxiety

I appreciate Jonny McCambridge for writing in his Wednesday column of his battle with mental stress.

Living with anxiety has had a crippling effect on my life.

Understanding and kindness from family and friends has helped me cope but it is certainly a demanding world out there.

I can relate to Jonny’s candid descriptions of struggling to remain in control.

It’s not the end of the world if a mistake is made.

Beating ourselves up about our habits won’t help but changing the routine, becoming resilient and finding a sense of humour does.

Thank you for reminding me to hope and not despair. I will keep in mind ‘the bucket.’

Enjoy your holiday.
