Republicans should be able to fund their own pensions

It is certainly a sign of a topsy-turvy world that injured terrorists demand a pension from the very state they attacked.

Surely they could fund IRA pensions themselves? Also, Sinn Fein recently received a couple of million quid as beneficiaries in a will.

If however this has all been squandered republicans could always tap their Irish-American fund raising buddies, who were all too willing to fund and send Irish freedom fighters into battle.

Maybe now they should pay for the consequences of it.
