Theresa May was a remainer. Theresa May is a remainer. Theresa May will be a remainer.

And a very crafty one and very successful one.

Enter Theresa May – reluctant, diffident, long suffering. Far from charismatic, not that bright, but doggedly determined to carry the poisoned chalice and give the electorate what they voted for; slogging virtually alone through the mud of the Brussels trenches with her forces in disarray, close to mutiny, she was forced to give concession after concession to the vindictive Barnier ‘til finally now it looks like we will get more of a Bremain than a Brexit.

For a while she had me fooled with all of that.

In reality though, she is a remainer who cunningly seized the opportunity and claimed to be striving to carry out the will of the people while carrying out her plan to do exactly the opposite – to stay, in fact if not in name.

Fair play to her. Looks her plan worked.
