Pedestrian dies in Ballynahinch lorry collision


A male pedestrian has died after bring hit by a lorry in Ballynahinch Co Down, this morning.

The man was struck by a lorry on Windmill Street shortly before 11am. The vehicle then drove through the centre of the town and police believe the driver of the lorry may not be aware they were involved in the collision.

The lorry was a 6-wheel tipper lorry with a blue/brown cab and was loaded with rubble or vegetables.

It has Miskelly Brothers Ltd writing on the front of the cab although this vehicle is no longer owned by the Company.
