City centre restaurant reveals two staff have tested positive for COVID-19 - premises temporarily closed for ‘deep clean’

On social media Wagamama in Victoria Square say that two members of staff are “now in quarantine”.

They add that all team members from the restaurant were “facilitated to undergo the necessary medical testing” - and there were no further positive results for Coronavirus.

They add that the Victoria Square premises “has been temporarily closed in order to allow all team members who had been in direct contact with those affected to self-isolate for the required period of time as per public health advice”.

The post adds that ‘all our restaurants’ follow strict hygiene protocols from global and national health authorities’.

They add that the Victoria Square premises will undergo ‘an extra deep clean and sanitisation programme before reopening’ to ensure a “safe environment for all out valued customers”.
