No Covid-19 related deaths were recorded by Northern Ireland’s Department of Health over the weekend.

This means the number of deaths from the virus still remains at 556.

The department’s daily figures are mostly comprised of hospital deaths, where a patient had previously tested positive for the virus.

One patient with Covid-19 is currently being treated in intensive care in a Northern Ireland hospital.

To date 5,837 people have tested positive for COVID-19.

Meanwhile 71 people have tested positive for coronavirus in the last seven days.

This is where the cases have been detected -

Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon - 4

Ards and North Down - 1

Antrim and Newtownabbey - 0

Belfast - 12

Causeway Coast and Glens - 25

Derry and Strabane - 14

Fermanagh and Omagh - 1

Lisburn and Castlereagh - 1

Mid Ulster - 1

Newry, Mourne and Down - 2

And 23 people have tested positive over the weekend.

Figures released on Monday also indicated that 128,998 individuals have been tested for the virus since the beginning of the pandemic.
