Another 49 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, the Department of Health have revealed.

That means 607 cases have tested positive in the last 7 days.

A total of 7,957 people have now tested positive for COVID-19.

There have been no deaths in the last 24 hours - meaning the death toll remains at 567.

The data reveals that 298 men and 268 women have perished with the virus.

There are now two people battling Coronavirus in ICU - and another 17 confirmed COVID-19 inpatients in other wards in our hospitals.

There are now 22 COVID-19 cases in NI Care Homes - and 7 suspected cases.
