That brings the total number of people who tested positive with the virus to 5,876.

A total of 66 people have tested positive in the last seven days.

The latest cases were recorded yesterday, according to the Department of Health in the following council areas:

Newry, Mourne and Down - 2

Two people remain fighting for their lives in ICU in NI hospitals.

There have been no further deaths with coronavirus leaving the death toll at 556.

There are now six confirmed COVID-19 outbreaks in NI Care Home - and nine suspected outbreaks.
