Coronavirus NI: One more person dies with virus bringing death toll to 571 - 79 more people test positive - three people now fighting for lives in ICU - see how many people have virus in YOUR area

Another person has died with COVID-19 in Northern Ireland, the latest Department of Health dashboard has revealed.

This means that now 300 men and 270 women have died with coronavirus.

The latest statistics also reveal that another 79 people have tested positive for the virus.

That means 563 people have tested positive in the last 7 days - and 8,502 in total.

There are now three people with COVID-19 fighting for their lives in ICU and another 23 COVID-confirmed inpatients.

There are now 27 confirmed COVID-19 cases in NI Care Homes - and 9 suspected cases.

And according to COVID testing in the last seven days:

114 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus in the 0-19 years age group

135 in the 40-59 years age group

69 in the 60-79 years age group

19 in the 80-years and over age group.
