A post on Edendork GAC - a Club outside Dungannon - last night posted on social media: “IMPORTANT INFORMATION

“Due to the increase in COVID-19 cases within the area, the we have decided to suspend non-competitive Football and Camogie within the Club with immediate effect.

“Only those teams and players still in competitive action will continue to train and compete.

“These restrictions will be reviewed again in 2 weeks time.

“As always we thank all our coaches, players and parents for your continued co-operation.

“We encourage everyone to follow the latest advice and protocols to slow down and stop the spread of the virus”.

In recent days an earlier post from Edendork GAC said: “The Club have been informed of a positive Covid-19 case within the club community.

“The individual concerned is symptom free and is currently isolating for 14 days.

“Tyrone county board and The Public Health Agency have both been informed.

“Those who are deemed to have been in close contact with the individual within the last 48hrs in the community have already been contacted. Others outside the community will be contacted directly by the Contact Tracing team from the Public Health Agency and informed what to do next.

“We will continue to work with Tyrone County Board and The Public Health Agency going forward”.
