Motorist left in ‘serious condition in hospital’ after one vehicle collision - busy Co Antrim route reopened - PSNI appeal for witnesses to collision

The Frosses Road between Ballymoney and Coleraine has reopened between the Portrush Road roundabout and the Newbridge Road following a serious one vehicle road traffic collision this morning (Wednesday 22nd July).

The latest statenebt from the PSNI said: “One man was taken to hospital for treatment of his injuries and is in a serious condition”.

It added that the collision “was reported shortly before 9.00 am this morning”.

“Police attended the scene along with other emergency services”.

Inspector McCafferty is appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have captured the dash cam footage, to contact them on 101 quoting reference number 345 of 22/07/20.
