Prayer request for Minister and chaplain for the Motorcycle Union of Ireland, Rev Noel Agnew - to aid his recovery

An appeal has been made for prayers for Minister Noel Agnew, who is chaplain for the Motorcycle Union of Ireland.

The call was made on social media.

One post on Facebook from a motorbike enthusiast says: “If you pray, could pray for Noel Agnew.

“Noel if you don’t know him was a big influence on many young people in PCI over many many years and many ministers.

“In fact he is known as uncle Noel to hundreds.

“Noel took a heart attack on Friday evening at the Cookstown 100.

“He is one of three chaplains for the road racing meetings in Ireland.

“Noel is seriously ill in Craigavon hospital.

“Pray that he would know God’s healing hand and most of all His grace”.

Another message says: “Shocked and saddened tonight to hear that our good friend and brother in Christ, Noel Agnew has suffered a heart attack and is seriously ill in hospital.

“Please pray for Noel, that he would know the peace of God in this situation and that he is restored to full health and strength”.

A later message on the Official Cookstowm 100 Facebook page adds: “Our mcui chaplain Rev Noel Agnew still remains ill in hospital when he took unwell after practice on Friday evening.

“We want to wish our competitors and Noel a big get well soon”.

Rev Noel Agnew, a chaplain for the Motorcycle Union of Ireland spoke at the funeral of William Dunlop.
