We are running a competition to find your best staycation stories. So, whether you had a nightmare camping trip in the rain, discovered a blissful cottage in Donegal or discovered a true gem of a location, we want to hear about it.

And to reward your efforts, we have teamed up with Hastings Hotels to give the reader with the best story the chance to win a Derry Girls Staycation in the luxurious Everglades Hotel in Londonderry. The fabulous prize including overnight accommodation for two people with breakfast and the themed Derry Girls Afternoon Tea with cocktail and your very own Michelle, the Derry Girls duck to take home with you.

The Everglades is now famous for its Derry Girl Girls Afternoon Tea which is inspired by the hit TV show and includes the cream horn shared by Granda Joe and his floosy, a cone of chips in homage to the Chippy fiasco, the famous Derry sausage roll baps, a classic Tayto Cheese & Onion sarnie and a host of local tray bakes that would make Ma Mary proud.
