CISTA is campaigning for a full review of UK drugs laws relating to cannabis.
We believe the findings would lead to more compassionate, intelligent and evidence-based legislation. A regulated cannabis market would prohibit underage sale, educate young people on the dangers of substance abuse and allow one million patients access to medicinal cannabis. It could bring in £1bn in tax annually and save £360m on policing prohibition – providing funds for public services: Huge savings from a policy that no other Northern Ireland parties will talk about. We need to end the control of criminal gangs and stop criminalising people for using a medicinal substance less dangerous than alcohol or tobacco.
Vote CISTA for a better future in Northern Ireland.
