Trafficwatch NI has warned that there is a risk of road surface temperatures falling to freezing in some areas towards dawn in clearer spells this morning.

There is also a risk of some fog patches.

“Engineers have been monitoring situation overnight but no salting has been undertaken,” it said.

Road users should exercise caution when travelling, it added.

It also warned last night that in County Down, temporary traffic lights were not working on the A22 close to Balloo. It is not known if this has yet been corrected.
