Northern Irish golfing supremo Rory McIlroy has appeared at a function at Belfast’s Titanic building, alongside the woman who is now rumoured to be his fiancee.
It had been reportedly widely last week that he had got engaged, but he had not moved to confirm the reports (or deny them).
His partner Erica Stoll joined him at the Belfast event last night and, visible on her left hand, was a rather large and shiny ring – something that is likely to affirm the rumours of his pending marriage for some observers.
The event on Thursday was the Christmas Ball for The Paddy Wallace Fund for Autism.
The fund was set up by former Ireland and Ulster rugby star Paddy Wallace and his wife Tina to raise awareness of autism and support of families and children awaiting diagnosis or who have been diagnosed on the autism spectrum.
The event also featured well-known guests including Tommy Bowe, Stephen Ferris, Mickey Harte, and Ian Paisley Junior.
