The Ulster Unionist Association in South Belfast will vote on their candidate for the May Westminster election on Wednesday night.

It is believed that the names in the running are Michael McGimpsey MLA, Rodney McCune, Councillor Graham Craig, and Councillor Jeffrey Dudgeon.

The two candidates with most votes will go forward to the party leadership for consideration.

The seat, which is currently held by the SDLP leader Alasdair McDonnell, may yet be one of the seats that are the subject of a pact between the UUP and the DUP.
