Teenager in ‘serious condition’ after collision

A 16-year-old girl is in a serious condition in hospital after a single car collision in Co Down.

The teenager was injured on the Magheraknock Road, Ballynahinch, at 8.15am today (March 15).

Inspector John McClurg said: “The male driver of the vehicle involved, a grey MG ZR, sustained non-life threatening injuries.

“Police are keen to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision or who saw the vehicle travelling on the Magheraknock Road or surrounding roads prior to the time of the collision.

“The number to call is 101.”
