An incident at Glasgow Airport affecting flights into and out of Northern Ireland has ended, according to the airport's official Twitter account.

All flights into and out of the Scottish airport were suspended after an "incident" on an inbound flight.

Emergency services attended the scene as the runway was shutdown.

However, the runway has reopened and flights are getting back to normal.

The incident was declared shortly before 10.30am on Tuesday.
