Busy NI road closed until 6:00pm

A busy road in Northern Ireland will be closed until 6:00pm on Friday.

The Glencregagh Road, Castlereagh will stay closed until 6:00pm to allow for high friction surfacing to be laid.

Trafficwatch N.I. Tweeted about the road closure just before 9:00am on Friday.

"Apologies for late notice, we were only made aware of this ourselves a few minutes ago," said Trafficwatch N.I. on social media.

The information published by Trafficwatch N.I. comes from the Department for Infrastructure (D.f.I).

D.f.I. is the sole roads authority for all public roads in Northern Ireland.
