NI carriageway blocked by lorry on fire - motorists asked to avoid the area

The PSNI are asking motorists to avoid the A1 between Newry and Dundalk this morning.

In a statement the PSNI say that the carriageway is currently blocked by a lorry on fire, which has resulted in heavy smoke throughout the area.
