NI weather: enjoy the sunshine while it lasts as unsettled period looms
This past week has seen Northern Ireland bathe in glorious sunshine and the good news is it looks set to continue over the weekend.
Another dry day is forecast for tomorrow with temperatures getting into the high teens, possibly even reaching 20 degrees Celsius.

Those looking to make the most of the good weather have been clambering to book weekends away at popular coastal resorts like Portrush, Bangor and Newcastle, though a quick search of booking sites shows that accommodation is largely at capacity.

He said: “Northern Ireland is the place to be for some decent weather this weekend. The far north and far south of the UK are probably seeing that bit more in the way of cloud and some rain. Northern Ireland is looking consistently pretty decent in terms of dryness and good periods of sunshine.”
However, the good weather won’t last forever.
Ollie said a cold front was expected to hit NI on Tuesday morning, bringing blustery showers and heralding the start of an unsettled period across the UK.
He advised people to enjoy the sunshine while observing Covid guidelines.
