In London we have the names of former politicians, now deceased, being linked to the sexual abuse of young boys.

Now we are told that documents, recently found by the Cabinet Office and which were not presented to last year’s review of Home Office files into the abuse claims, now reveal that a letter written by the head of MI5 in 1986, stated, “the risk of political embarrassment to the Government is rather greater than the security danger.”

This is a truly shocking revelation.

There is now no doubt that there has been a huge cover-up at the heart of the establishment around this issue and that there will be more to come.

Among the new documents uncovered by the Cabinet Office include some making reference to Kincora boys home in Belfast.

Surely Her Majesty’s Government must now extend the investigation into this awful abuse, to Northern Ireland and include the evil Kthat was the institutionalised abuse at Kincora.
