The residents, staff and management of Utility Street Shelter for homeless men would like to extend a word of gratitude and appreciation to the people and organisations that helped and supported us throughout 2014, and in particular for their exceptional kindness over the Christmas period.
We deeply appreciate the kindness and generosity of minister Mervyn Storey and his department.
His donations helped us to ensure that all of our residents were well looked after this Christmas time.
We thank also Rick Rowledge and her team in The Council for The Homeless, Mona and Louis McConnell, April Smith from Bangor, Layla Kerr, New Life Church and Friendship House.
A special word of thanks to Shirley and Donald Buchanan and to Jo Gibson in RUTH (Raising Up The Hurting).
As we face the challenges of providing front line services to the homeless and marginalised we rely more than ever on such unconditional kindness and support.
It is important for us to acknowledge this and express our true gratitude.
