Re the story ‘Dublin Cathedral Remembers 36,000 Irish World War I Dead for Armistice Day,’ (November 1).

My warmest congratulations to St Patrick’s Cathedral on bringing this timely and moving project to so inspirational a conclusion.

It will surely do much to promote the peace and reconciliation in the whole island of Ireland that we so earnestly desire and have prayed for for so long.
