One wonders what our society has come to given the headline ‘MP Jacob Rees-Mogg defends ‘extreme’ anti-abortion views’ (Sep10).

In this topsy-turvy world, where black is white and white is black, is it now acceptable to consider those who oppose the murder of an innocent as ‘extreme’?
