Merkel admits that ‘no deal’ Brexit means hard Irish border
In a report on RTE Radio 1 at around 11am on Saturday their Berlin correspondent stated that Angela Merkel had said that in a ‘no deal’ Brexit the European Union would insist on a hard border in Ireland.
In the discussion that followed the presenter wondered if the EU was yielding to Britain’s demands for the end of backstop. So far the British media has ignored this.
