On BBC Radio Ulster Sunday Sequence (February 25), in a discussion on Billy Graham Audrey Carville made the following comment:
“He [Billy Graham] was interesting too in the sense that he wasn’t anti Catholic, he didn’t take an anti Catholic Church position, which is something perhaps that couldn’t be said of modern day evangelicals.”
This question might have seemed like it was “having a go” at modern day evangelicals.
I consider it a lack of good judgement that the presenter should have introduced the issue regarding the attitude of ‘modern day evangelicals’.
