I was shocked rigid when I heard Lady Butler-Sloss state on television that those who suffered sexual abuse as a child cannot dictate who is to be in charge of any inquiry.
For anyone to say this is inhumane arrogance, but to come from a so-called distinguished person has shocked me to the core.
I have no doubt that any inquiry carried out that bears any credibility will name and shame the abusers that were said to include members of the British parliament.
Britain prides itself on the scales of justice, albeit I personally question that claim, more so when a parliamentarian is involved, as history has shown.
But for this woman, sorry I cannot refer to her as a lady, to make such a statement only creates more suspicions in the minds of people like me.
Shame on you is all I can say.
