Backstop would be boost for NI

Remain in the European Union customs free trade zone, whilst staying in the United Kingdom.

How many UK companies could have head offices in Belfast, or factories and production facilities here, to avoid trade tariffs.

The economic benefit to the NI economy would be unprecedented.

Sadly nobody seems to be talking about this — especially our inept politicians who are more concerned with looking into the past rather than the future.

It is simply the biggest economic opportunity we will see in our lifetime in Northern Ireland.
