Jacob Rees-Mogg the Conservative MP for North East Somerset, in an article in The House magazine at Westminster and reported in the (London) Metro newspaper on March 16 has said “people claiming Brexit could lead to a return to the Troubles in Northern Ireland were almost encouraging violence”.

Mr Rees-Mogg also went on to say: “Once you start proposing that violence may be a consequence of something, you are almost encouraging violence”.

He also said that the European Union has come up with a solution that is wholly impossible for the United Kingdom to accept, that we should take Northern Ireland out of the United Kingdom”.

It is time once and for all for the British government and the Democratic Unionist Party to tell the EU, Sinn Fein and the Irish government that Northern Ireland is not for sale, and that when Britain leaves the EU so does Northern Ireland. No Surrender.
