Unionists should not fuss about minor matters

When are our unionist politicians going to grow up, show some maturity, and cease fussing over matters insignificant?

This time it is about the decision of the new Mid Ulster Council to ban the sale of poppies on council premises. Surely council premises are not suitable locations anyway if only for the reason there is insufficient footfall at these venues to make it worthwhile.

Far better to have them of offer in shops, clubs, pubs and at street collections if people are serious about this issue.

In any case, just because poppies cannot now be sold on the council premises doesn’t mean they can’t be worn there.

It is no wonder almost half the unionist population no longer vote.
