Watch RTE if you don't like seeing presenters wear poppies on BBC Northern Ireland

But you see Tom, it is after all the British, repeat, British Broadcasting Corporation tasked with serving the needs of UK.

So far, despite many years of violent effort by the IRA and some current pretty sleekit political manoeuvring by Brussels and Dublin, Northern Ireland by virtue a majority vote in a free referendum is still part of the UK.

Can I recommend for poppy free viewing RTE 1 and 2 and TG4 all of which serve the Republic admirably.

Incidentally before criticising BBC Northern Ireland, which you clearly watch, it might be common courtesy first to purchase a licence.

Do you have one Tom?
