When will Islamic hate be charged?

Letters
Letters

I refer to the letter from Wes Holmes (August 12) concerning Pastor McConnell.

This week Islamic preacher Anjem Choudary has been arrested in London and charged with supporting an illegal organisation Isis.

He is now in custody. The Muslim man who has brought the complaint against Pastor McConnell is on record as saying he supports Isil in the Iraq city of Mosul.

Also another Islamic preacher Abu Usamah at-Thahabi Birmingham of the Green Lane Mosque has been reported as advocating murder (yes murder) of gay people with no attempt by the authorities to arrest him (see report in Gatestone Institute 1 July).

Another cover up!

Just who is discriminating against who?

The Racial and Religious Hatred Act and various Public Order Acts prohibit incitement to violence but despite this report of advocating murder Thahabi has never been charged. Why not Home Secretary?
