Jennings is a former winner of the Newry Half Marathon and recently clocked 2:44:33 again in Rotterdam which would suggest top three potential in Belfast.

The Ferrybank girl, with a best of 55.93, will face double Commonwealth competitor Christine McMahon of Ballymena and Antrim who has a time of 56.97.

The Irish pair will face strong cross channel opposition from Jess Turner and Georgia Rodgers from England plus Katie Purves and Mhaira Patience of Scotland.
