Matchroom chief Barry Hearn is backing his son’s fighter Scott Quigg to take apart Carl Frampton in Manchester on February 27.
Hearn and son Eddie have voiced their opinions that Quigg will beat Belfast boy Frampton at the Manchester Arena and claim the IBF and WBA World titles.
And Hearn snr is sure Quigg will take ‘The Jackal’s’ IBF crown.
““I think Quigg absolutely destroys him,” Hearn said.
“Styles make fights, and Quigg is a tough and elusive little fighter. I think he’s too big for Frampton in terms of physical size and I think he hits too hard.
“Frampton is going to have to fight a very sensible fight. He can’t come out rolling like he did in his last fight and get knocked down in a round.
“I think he has learned from that because he probably got complacent with that fight.
“Don’t get me wrong, I think Frampton is a great fighter but I think Quigg is a brutal, horrible piece of work - I mean that in a nice way! He’s just sadistic and accurate.”
