Conrad Cummings got his hands on the WBO European Middleweight title last night after stopping Gogi Knezevic in the third round of their contest in Edinburgh.
Cummings bossed the fight from start to finish and he showed more composure and patience in this fight and got the result he had been looking for.
“I just did what we had been working on in the gym and I was a top amateur before I turned professional and maybe I put myself under too much pressure in my early fights.
“But tonight I just stayed relaxed as my trainer Shane McGuigan told me to be and I knew I would get him out of there.
“I do it in the gym day in and day out with World Champions and I do very well. This is my break-out fight and I am looking forward to the future,” he added.
