Scott Quigg has praised Carl Frampton after watching the Belfast fighter beating Leo Santa Cruz on July.
Frampton claimed the WBA featherweight World title by seeing off Santa Cruz in the Barclays Centre in New York.
Quigg was ringside in the ‘Big Apple’ that night and he thought ‘The Jackal’ put on a master class against the Mexican.
“I thought he boxed very well and on the night I thought he won the fight by three rounds.
“I thought he was very comfortable in there and tactically he got it spot on and he boxed a very, very clever fight.
“You have to give credit were it is due and his trainer Shane McGuigan came up with a very good game plan,” he added.
