Carl Framptopn retained his IBF Super-bantamweight World title after stopping Chris Avalos in the fifth round at the Odyssey on Saturday.
Belfast boy Frampton bossed the fight from the start and hit the American with some heavy blows.
Avalos’ corner were seen to try to encourage their fighter at the end of the third, as if they knew the end was in sight.
In the fifth Frampton landed several massive blows before referee Howard Foster stepped in to stop the fight and Frampton had retained his World title.
And WBA Champion Scott Quigg - who was ringside - must have been impressed.
