The two super-flyweights will clash at the London venue for the Commonwealth title and Conlan - who has been training at the MGM gym in Spain - believes he will have too much on the night for his opponent.

“Nelson is a good fighter and he is unbeaten but I just believe I am a different level to him.

“I just believe I am a better fighter than him - but I have to go in there and prove it.

“Preparation has gone really well and I am looking forward to the fight,” he added.

And Conlan says his family have helped in his preparation for the fight.

“I have watched Nelson in action and we have got a game plan that we are sure will work. My dad John, my coach and my brother Michael all watched Nelson on the Internet and we all came up with the same plan to win the fight.

“He is a come forward fighter and I think he is tailor made for me,” he added.

And Jamie’s brother Michael won an Olympic bronze medal at the Copper Box and Jamie wants to carry on the family’s success story at the venue.

“The last time I was there I was cheering Michael on and now I want to keep our successful record at the venue going,” he added.
